When we kneel before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, as He is exposed to us, our souls are exposed to Him; our hearts listen silently to the Word Made Flesh as He heals our wounds in the silence.
You can’t force someone to violate their religious beliefs. That is not the separation of church and state. This is not a hard concept to grasp.

Now, imagine if Catholics in the above sentence were replaced with Jews or Muslims how immediately inappropriate Tumblr would deem that post.
But because its Catholics, tumblr doesn’t care. Just doing my part to point out the hypocritical double standard that is law in tumblr’s collective unconscious.
The best part of the liberals-hate-Catholics campaign is that Catholicism is far from the only religion in the world to teach that there is an objective right and wrong, or that homosexual acts are sinful, or to have a male-only priesthood, or to oppose abortion, etc etc. But we can’t be having any of that “perspective” crap—we love ALL the religions, no matter what they teach! Really! It’s just those vile Catholics who screw everything up! Just look at how much they hate women! They have the nerve to stress the inherent equal dignity and capability of both sexes, while Islam teaches that women are inherently deficient compared to men! I mean, really!
Sarcasm aside, I’d much rather deal with someone who can admit, “I think religion in general is a garbage,” than with someone who claims to equally respect a world’s worth of contradictory claims to objective truth and moral code… except for Catholicism.
